Reports say the new iPad mini and 9.7-inch iPad could launch in just a few months

Apple has always surprised the consumers with its amazing UI/UX in terms of its software, amazing touchscreen experience and so much more. Keeping aside the new smart battery cases, reports say that Apple’s first real product releases of the year will probably be the new iPads which will be introduced in the early 2020.

Reports say that there will be two new iPads launched with touchscreen panels, one of them will be an updated version of iPad mini 4 and other will be a refreshed entry-level iPad. Well, users are eagerly waiting for their release as Apple always bring exciting things for the consumers to explore.

It has been almost 5 years since Apple’s iPad mini was last updated, it has been outdated when you compare its performance with the 9.7-inch iPad. As there is an updated version of iOS which is the iOS 12, it has driven a new wave into the aging iPads.

The iPad mini is due for an update as a notable Apple analyst Min-Chi-Kuo reported supply chains, suggesting that Apple is in process of sourcing components for a new model. It’s going to be awkwardly more expensive priced at $399 than the cheapest iPads which starts at $329.

The experts say, the new iPad mini 5 will probably not come with a new design or with a Face ID but it will be more like an updated version of the previous iPad mini 4. Some reports also state that it will just have an improved design, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and a newer Apple chip. Moreover, it might be possible that the new iPad have Apple pencil support to its smallest tablet just like the 9.7-inch iPad.

The most expected updates in the new iPad mini 5 might be an A12 Bionic chip, faster Touch ID, improved camera and a price ranging from $329-349.

However, the 9.7 inch iPad this year depicted some changes in terms of its components but there was no significant change in the design. It comprised of A11 Bionic chip, laminated retina display, faster second generation Touch ID, an improved camera and cost up to $299.

According to the reports, the new iPads are expected to arrive somewhere in the first half of 2019, whereas the last update of an iPad took place in March 2018 when Apple launched a 9.7-inch iPad. Apple lovers are eager for the launch of the new iPads in spring which will surely clean sweep the market just like any other Apple products.
